Avis Malaysia Synergize Collaboration for Innovative Customer's Solutions
Shah Alam, Malaysia, 21 December 2023 – AVIS Malaysia, Automotive Corporation (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (ACM Isuzu) and DRB-HICOM Auto Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (DHAS) have entered into a strategic collaboration to provide innovative solutions in the automotive industry.
The three companies have leveraged on the synergy by being companies of the DRB-HICOM Berhad Group to enhance the fleet capabilities of DHAS with the delivery of five state-of-the-art Isuzu trucks that will boost the company’s vehicle transportation capabilities.
Two units of the Isuzu Forward were delivered during a handover ceremony which took place at the ACM Headquarters in Batu Caves recently. The Isuzu Forward, a versatile medium-duty truck, will be tasked with transporting motorcycles within DHAS's network. With a capacity to carry around 30 motorcycles, and renowned for its reliability and fuel efficiency, the Forward ensures a seamless and secure transport solution for motorcycles.
The remaining three vehicles, scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2024, are Isuzu Giga heavy-duty trucks, specifically selected for its superior load-carrying capacity. With a length of 64 feet, each trailer can move between six and eight vehicles in a single load.These prime-moving powerhouses will serve as dedicated car carriers within the DHAS fleet, enhancing its capacity to provide safe and efficient transportation of automobiles.

This is complemented by Avis Malaysia’s ability to provide innovative leasing options to cater to the specific needs of the industry. Encik Mohd Syahrul Yusuf, Chief Operating Officer of AVIS Malaysia, welcomed the collaboration, stating, "This partnership signifies a new era in our commitment to providing tailored solutions for our clients. Fawzi Ahmad.
