DRB-HICOM EZ-Drive Sdn Bhd (otherwise known as Avis Malaysia) is the Avis Rent A Car licensee in Malaysia. The company was established in Malaysia in 1972 and has been acquired by DRB-HICOM via EON Berhad in June 2014. The Avis brand is one of the world's best-known car rental brands providing short-term rental and long-term lease to business and leisure travellers in approximately 11,000 locations across more than 180 countries.

Today, Avis Malaysia operates 18 rental locations and 2 site offices in Malaysia. For work or leisure, we provide customers a wide range of professional mobility services and solutions specializing in vehicle rental, leasing as well as fleet management services to both individuals and businesses.

For recognition of our service standards, Avis Malaysia was awarded The BrandLaureate Awards for the category of ‘Most Favorite Brand for Rent-A-Car Solutions’ in Malaysia 2018/19 in May 2018. The brand was also awarded 'Malaysia's Best Car Rental Company' for 2021 as well as 2022. Inrecognition of excellent service in 2022, Avis was also voted as the 'Best Customer Experience for Car Rental' by the Asian Experience Awards.
