Tesla Model Y & Model 3 Latest Avis Malaysia's EV Fleet
Shah Alam, 15 December 2023 - Avis Malaysia announced the expansion of its fleet with the addition of two models of Tesla: Model Y and 3. This strategic move is part of Avis ongoing commitment in providing customers with high quality selection of vehicles to meet their travel needs.
The Tesla Model Y, RWD variant is Avis’s latest all-electric crossover SUV offered for rental, The EV is touted to be one of the safest of its category, boasting a 5-star rating from NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and Euro NCAP. This variant offers seating up to five passengers and 2.1 cubic metres of cargo space. It is equipped with a single motor that offers 255kW (347hp) of power and 420Nm of torque, enabling for a century sprint time of 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 217km/h. Its onboard battery has a capacity of 57.5kWh which provides a rated range of 430km on the WLTP cycle. As for model 3, it is equipped with autopilot features, including an emergency braking system.
